Description and Requirements

Reporting to the Superior Gas Liquids Digital Transformation & Operational Accounting Director, the Contract Analyst is responsible for analyzing the details of business contracts, to help  the company avoid contractual disputes, protecting both the company’s reputation and its financial interests.

What you'll do:


  • Responsible for the foundation of the contract build inside the contract management system, Right Angle (inclusive of all contract details such as terms, values, pricing). 
  • Evaluate the terms and conditions of business contracts prior  to signing for the company including but not limited to:
    • Review contracts before they are signed; analyzing all clauses, stipulations, obligations and liabilities
    • Ensure that all contracts are in accordance with company specific policies
    • Ensure that both parties are fulfilling their contract obligations
  • Produce drafts of contracts for management review
    • Review proposals for changes in contract terms and renewals
  • Assisting with CSOX audit requests
  • Maintain the landed cost in the accounting system

 

What you bring:


  • Post secondary education in business, legal, or finance, preferred
  • 5 to 10 years experience analyzing contractual agreements
  • Familiarity with local, provincial and national contract laws to verify that the company is in accordance with all regulations
  • Extremely thorough and detail oriented ensuring accuracy on all information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to multiple competing priorities
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills
